People have been asking us if we were going to make more No-Bake Truffles this year, while there are some in development we got the drive to turn our attention to fudge!

We knew we wanted to do something festive to get started with our Five Minute Fudge series, but I can’t describe my excitement when I found our french twist donut molds and I was SO excited to make these little wreaths. We were lucky enough to have a bag of green candy melts, a can of Sweetened Condensed Milk and Peppermint Extract hiding in the pantry. We realized we’d never made peppermint fudge before (how?!), and within minutes, our kitchen smelled like Christmas morning.

All that being said, these little 5-minute White Chocolate Peppermint Fudge Wreaths might be the simplest (and most adorable) thing you make all season — creamy, minty, and made in a textured silicone donut pan so each little wreath looks ready for a bow.

Is this budget-friendly?

Absolutely. Each batch uses half a can of condensed milk and just a drop of extract, so it’s one of those desserts that costs next to nothing but looks like something you’d gift from a boutique candy shop. You can even use leftover candy melts from past baking projects — the more mixed greens, the more “wreath-like” they look once topped with festive sprinkles.

Why You’ll Love It

Making this fudge feels like a craft project and a dessert in one.

  • 5 minutes total. Melt, stir, pour, freeze — that’s it.
  • Festive and giftable. Looks like mini wreaths straight off a Christmas dessert table.
  • No candy thermometer needed. A microwave is all you need.
  • Customizable. Switch the green melts for red or white and change up the sprinkles.
  • Perfect for last-minute entertaining. You can make these an hour before guests arrive!

Ingredients

(This recipe makes about 6–8 mini wreaths, depending on your pan size)

  • 7 ounces (198g or half a can) full-fat sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ½ cups + 2 tablespoons (300g) green candy melts
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 drop peppermint extract
  • Sprinkles for decorating (holiday mix or crushed candy canes)

Directions

  1. Prep the pan:
Lightly grease or wipe your silicone donut pan (textured bottoms work best). Add a few sprinkles into each cavity before pouring — this will become the “front” of your wreath.
  2. Melt the base:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and green candy melts.
Microwave for 30 seconds, then continue in 10-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Add flavor:
Stir in vanilla extract and a single drop of peppermint extract. (Don’t overdo it — peppermint extract is strong.)
  4. Pour and chill:
Quickly spoon or pour the mixture into the prepared pan cavities, smoothing the tops.
  5. Freeze:
Place in the freezer for 5–10 minutes, or until firm enough to pop out cleanly.
  6. Serve or store:
Pop each wreath out carefully and let them come to room temp before serving for the perfect creamy bite.

❓ FAQ

Can I use white chocolate instead of candy melts?
Yes! Substitute white chocolate chips (about 300g) for the candy melts. Add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil to help it melt smoothly.

Can I double the recipe?
Absolutely. Just use a full 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk and 3 ¼ cups of candy melts — it scales perfectly.

Can I make this ahead of time?
Yes! The fudge keeps beautifully for up to 2 weeks in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer. Store in an airtight container with parchment between layers.

What if I don’t have a donut pan?
Try silicone muffin molds or even a small loaf pan. Once chilled, slice into squares or use a mini cookie cutter for shapes.

Can I use food coloring instead?
You can, but green candy melts give a more even color. If you use white chocolate, add gel coloring rather than liquid to avoid seizing.

🧊 How to Store It / Meal Prep This Dessert

Keep these peppermint fudge wreaths in the fridge for up to 14 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Stack between parchment or wax paper to prevent sticking.

They also travel well — perfect for cookie boxes, class parties, or road trips. Just keep them cool so the sprinkles stay intact.

The Final Forkful

Some recipes feel like a lot of pressure. But our 5-Minute Peppermint Fudge Wreaths were made during a fridge cleanout, in the middle of pre-trip packing, and still ended up being one of our favorite holiday treats ever.

They’re the perfect mix of nostalgia and new. The Creamy fudge, peppermint coolness, and a little sparkle of holiday chaos. We’ll definitely be making these again before the season’s over (and maybe this time, we’ll actually have time to wrap them up before eating them all).
